Orthopedic surgeons host question-and-answer session April 20 at VNA Apr 05, 2010
(April 5, 2010) North Adams Regional Hospital will continue its series of free question-and-answer sessions with orthopedic surgeons James Whittum, MD, Jonathan Cluett, MD, and Suk Namkoong, MD, on Tuesday, April 20, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The free event takes place at the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire Community Room. Refreshments will be served. Registration is requested by calling 413-664-5326.
Drs. Whittum, Cluett, and Namkoong will take questions on joint pain and joint problems including hips, knees, and shoulders.
Dr. Whittum earned his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine, and served his internship and residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He serves as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Dr. Cluett earned his medical degree at Columbia University in New York City. He completed his residency training at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Cluett also completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Santa Monica Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in California.
Dr. Namkoong graduated from Princeton University and earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He served his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Namkoong completed a fellowship in sports medicine at New York University/Hospital for Joint Diseases.
The next question-and-answer event is Tuesday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Charles O'Neill, Dr. Alison Hastings, and certified nurse midwife Carol Bryan will host that session.
