|Dr. Sandeep Sharma joins NARH Hospitalists|
Apr 02, 2013
(April 2, 2013) Sandeep Sharma, MD, a board certified internist, has joined the hospitalist program at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Dr. Sharma earned his medical degree from Delhi University College of Medical Sciences, and completed his residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He completed fellowship training in geriatric medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Sharma is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
NARH instituted its hospitalist program in 2002. The hospitalist can see a patient more than once a day for on-going assessment if necessary, more than may be realistic for a busy primary care physician. “We are careful to keep your primary doctor involved in your care,” said Thet Soe, MD, Director of Hospitalist Services at NARH. “There is very thorough information being shared and your doctor is still in the loop at major decision points.”
Dr. Sharma joins Dr. Soe, Michael Wilson, MD, Patti Miller, MD, Stephanie Foo, MD and Hospitalist RN Stacy Gentile, RN in NARH’s Hospitalist Program.
