Northern Berkshire Healthcare volunteers have the opportunity to volunteer at one or all of our affiliate sites. We provide the training and ongoing support so you can learn new skills. Join with a friend or make new friends. Through volunteering you can stay active, be productive, grow personally, and make a difference to someone who really needs it.
HOW TO ENROLL:
If you have a desire and willingness to serve, then NBH Volunteer Services is for you. Enrollment is simple! For an application form just call 413-664-5141, pick one up at any of our affiliate sites, or email bclark@nbhealth.org.
Complete the application form and return it to one of our affiliate sites or postal mail it to Bonnie Clark, Manager of Volunteer Services-NBH, NARH, 71 Hospital Avenue, North Adams, MA 01247.
Once it is received, we will begin processing it and you will be contacted. All volunteer jobs provide on-site training.
Reception
Opportunity: Volunteer greets & directs patients and visitors.
Commitment: Thursday or Friday, 4-8pm
Location: North Adams Regional Hospital
At Your Service
Opportunity: Volunteer runs errands for various departments, delivers mail and transports patients in wheelchairs.
Commitment: Monday, 11:30am-4pm
Location: North Adams Regional Hospital
Patient Representative
Opportunity: Volunteer visits new patients and completes brief survey.
Commitment: Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, 8:30-9:30am
