Nov 01, 2011
(Nov. 1, 2011) North Adams Regional Hospital has been named to the 2011 Harvard Pilgrim Hospital Honor Roll for quality of care. The Hospital Honor Roll names hospitals whose performance was among the top 25% of those measured nationally on a set of quality indicators. NARH is among a small group of 13 hospitals in Massachusetts named to the Honor Roll.
The criteria include clinical quality, patient experience, and patient safety measures as reported by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on Hospital Compare, and by the Leapfrog Group.
“Once again we find ourselves in very good company when it comes to providing quality care,” said Bill Frado, president of NARH. “Our staff is focused on quality and safety every day, and it shows. We’ve recently scored 100% on our efforts to meet core quality measures for three consecutive months, and our patient satisfaction results are very strong.”
NARH will be recognized at a reception hosted by Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare on November 8.
