|VNA offers health clinics, flu shots in January|

(Dec. 31, 2012) The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of Northern Berkshire will offer several public health clinics in the region in January. The clinics include blood pressure and blood sugar screening, medication reviews, heights and weights, and health teaching. Flu vaccine will be offered at the walk-in clinics at the VNA offices only.
A special flu vaccine walk-in clinic will be held Friday, Jan. 11, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the VNA offices on the campus of NARH.
Public health clinics are offered Tuesday, Jan. 8 and Thursday, Jan. 10 and again Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Thursday, Jan. 24 from 3-4 p.m. at the VNA & Hospice’s headquarters, 99 Hospital Avenue on the campus of North Adams Regional Hospital in North Adams.
In Adams, clinics will be held at Barrett House, Wednesday, Jan. 2, 10-11 a.m.; Valley Street Apartments, Thursday, Jan. 10, 10-11 a.m.; at Millhouse Apartments, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 10-11 a.m.; and at the new Adams Council on Aging facility, Wednesday, Jan. 23, 10-11 a.m.
In North Adams: Village East, Tuesday, Jan. 8, 10:30-11:30 a.m.; St. Joseph’s Court, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 9:30-10:30 a.m.; and the Spitzer Center, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 9-11 a.m.
